Kingpin Adapter for Mobile Column Lifts

Certainly one of the big things we love about Stertil-Koni is their willingness to adapt and accommodate the needs of clients. Lately as operators are relying more and more on existing trailers to cover more miles and work harder than before, Stertil-Koni look to make the process of safety and maintenance easier and more efficient. They have created a product called the Kingpin Adapter which is designed for mobile column lifts to safely lift trailers without requiring them to be attached to the tractor.

Essentially the Stertil-Koni Kingpin Crossbeam, supported by two Mobile Column Lifts, engages directly with a trailer’s kingpin coupling, while two, rearmost Mobile Column Lifts directly raise the trailer’s wheels. The result is a safe, ergonomically sound, simple, synchronized 3-point lift of an otherwise ungainly trailer when independent of the tractor.
